This is the complete quick release mounting system for the "Do it yourselfer". The top plate is 1/4" thick ABS 17.6" (447mm) X 11" (280mm). It is easy to drill holes in it and mount anything you want such as your own trunk. Please note: The Vintage saddle bag spools need to have the black plastic sleeves on them in order for our platform to fit. If your Vintage does not have them you can purchase them from your Indian dealer.

Remember, you must have the black plastic sleeves on your fender spools in order for our racks to fit properly. This photo shows without sleeves and they are too small. (You could wrap it with electrical tape in a pinch.)

The kit includes 4 of these plastic sleeves to fit over your fender spools. The spools must be removed in order to slide the sleeves on.

The spool sleeves include a shoulder. This can help keep a rack or sissy bar from rubbing the bike. The sleeves are milky clear and can slide on so the shoulder is close to the bike or away as needed.
